Florida Road is an independent Feature Film, directed by Brad Glass and written and produced by Fred Fontana. This is Mr. Glass' directorial debut based a story he developed and presented to Mr. Fontana. Mr Fontana is a Hollywood veteran of nearly 20 years. He has been involved in major motion pictures like, "The Specialist' with Sylvestor Stallone, "Vegas Vacation' with Chevy Chase, 'Solider' with Kurt Russell and others.

Mr Glass has spent many years in RSA and realizes the potential for film making in RSA. He started 'Sunworld Productions' over a year ago to facilitate quality films produced in RSA for the global market, bring Hollywood closer to Africa.

Florida Road is a beautifully shot film about an Indian family from Mumbai who moves to Durban for a better life. The story revolves around the middle son of three boys named 'Shaan'. Shaan aspires to be a screenwriter and loves Hollywood action films. His father 'Raj' disapproves of his son's career choice due to the instability of the business. He is a fan of Indian Bollywood films and is disturbed Shaan has drifted from their Indian Culture. Shaan continues to deal with his demons of living his own life, making his father happy and pursuing his dream of writing. When a family tragedy hits the family, secrets are revealed that change Shaan's path on life. This film showcases the beauty of Durban and RSA as well as touches the heart strings of families around the world.
